The holidays are just around the corner. I absolutely cannot believe it! For many of us, it’s the busiest and most exciting time of the year. There’s much to plan and prepare, from gifts to meals, decorations, and social gatherings. Holiday lists can be our best friends in helping to keep everything in order and ensuring we remember everything necessary. Here are some that I make every single year to help me through the holidays!
Gift Shopping List
A gift shopping list (get my free one here)! is essential to keep track of what you’re buying for friends and family. Include names, gift ideas, budget, and a checkbox to tick when you’ve purchased and wrapped each gift.
Holiday Meal Planning List
Whether hosting a family gathering or contributing a dish to a party, a meal planning list will help you remember all the ingredients and cooking steps. Remember to add your favorite recipes and timelines to ensure everything is ready on time.
Holiday Card List
Sending holiday cards is a heartwarming tradition. Make a list of recipients, addresses, and notes if you want to add a personal message or photo. Keep track of who you’ve sent them to and who you’ve received from.
Decoration Inventory List
Take stock of your existing holiday decorations and make a list of what you need to buy. This will save you money and prevent you from purchasing duplicates.

Festive Playlist
Music sets the mood for any celebration. Creating a playlist with your favorite holiday tunes will help keep spirits high and joyful. Remember to include classics and some new favorites to keep everyone entertained.
Travel Itinerary
A well-structured itinerary with flight details, accommodations, and activities will keep you organized if you’re traveling during the holidays. Keep copies for yourself and share them with loved ones so they know your plans.
Event Calendar
A detailed calendar of all the social gatherings, school concerts, and community events will ensure you don’t double-book or miss out on fun activities. Sync it with your family’s calendars so everyone is on the same page.
Self-Care Reminders
Amidst all the holiday hustle and bustle, don’t forget to take care of yourself—schedule time for relaxation, exercise, and self-care. A cozy evening with a good book and coffee is what you need to recharge.

The season can be both magical and overwhelming, right?!. Creating these holiday lists will not only help you stay organized but also allow you to enjoy the festive season to the fullest. So put on some holiday tunes (the ones you made a list of), open that new holiday notebook (or the Christmas Planner you purchased from me!) and get started on the rest of your lists. Happy Holidays!

Thanks for this! Definitely needed a reminder on a few of these 🙂
